Paid sessions, not just meeting links

Calendly is great for meetings. Consultants who sell their time end up adding a payment link and an intake form to it. 1MinuteBooking has both built in.

Paid when they book

Clients book strategy hours or a half-day intensive and pay up front by card, into your own Stripe account. No monthly fee: 2% per card payment, plus Stripe's fee. How card payments work

Context before the call

Every booking asks what they'd like to cover, and whether it's video, phone or in person. See the booking page

Projects quoted

Projects and retainers come in as quote requests with the scope, timeline and budget. You reply with a price and a card payment link. How quote requests work

Calendly or 1MinuteBooking?

Calendly and similar schedulers are excellent for meetings. Consultants who sell paid sessions usually end up adding a payment link, an intake form and sometimes a proposal tool around them.

If you mainly need meeting links for a team, a meeting scheduler fits better. If you sell your own time, 1MinuteBooking books your sessions and takes card payments. It's free, with no time limit.

Questions independent consultants ask

What scheduling software do consultants use?

Many use Calendly for meetings plus separate tools for payments and intake. 1MinuteBooking combines paid sessions, intake questions and card payments on one free page for solo consultants.

Is there a free booking page for consultants?

Yes. The free plan has no time limit and no commission. The only 1MinuteBooking charge is 2% on card payments taken through Stripe, on top of Stripe's own fee, if you turn that on.

Can clients pay for a strategy session when they book?

Yes. Turn on Stripe Payments to charge the full price or a deposit when the client books, or send a payment link for a custom engagement once you've priced it. The money goes to your own Stripe account.

Can I collect context before a call, like what a client wants to discuss?

Yes - the booking form asks what they'd like to cover. For projects and retainers, the quote form asks what they need help with, the type of engagement, their business, what they've tried, the result they want, timeline and budget.

Can a client book a longer session?

Yes - Strategy Session (Per Hour) is $200 an hour, and clients pick 1 to 10 hours when they book. The time blocked on your calendar and the total grow with the hours.

Can I start without a credit card?

Yes - the Free plan needs only a Google account or an email address. No card is asked for.

Can I keep my calendar from filling up with speculative dates far out?

Yes - set a maximum advance booking window, adjustable up to 365 days.

Can clients choose a video call, a phone call or meeting at their office?

Yes. The Consultant preset starts with three location options - "Video call", "Phone call" and "At your office" - all at no charge. The client picks one when they book, and their choice is saved on the booking, so you know how you're meeting. "At your office" asks for the client's address and adds 30 minutes of travel time, which blocks your calendar but is never shown to the client. Change the price or travel time, or add a meeting place of your own, under Settings > Locations.

Can I offer a half-day intensive?

Yes - Half-Day Intensive (4 Hours) is an $800 starter service with prep beforehand and a written action plan after, next to the free 20-minute Discovery Call and the Strategy Session at $200 an hour.

We'll ask which Google account to use next.
