Free online booking and scheduling for solo and small service businesses

A free booking widget that keeps clients on your website

Paste one line of code and a "Book now" button, a floating button or your whole booking page appears on your site. Clients pick a service, watch the price add up and book an open time, all without leaving your page.

Free plan, no credit card required

Four ways to put it on your site

Pick one in Settings > Share & embed and copy the code it gives you. Each one plays below on a sample website.

Works with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, GoDaddy and any website that takes custom HTML.

Try the popup

What a contact form can't do

A contact form collects a request and leaves you to reply with a price and a time. A meeting scheduler shows open times, but it's built for calls, not for jobs that cost more and take longer when there's more to do.

The widget is your whole booking page. Clients choose a service and any add-ons, like the number of bedrooms, a second dog or rush delivery, and the price and the length of the appointment update as they go. They only see start times you're actually free for a job that long, travel time included if you go to them. Work you can't price up front comes in as a quote request with photos instead.

Everything that works on your booking link works on your website:

  • Your services, add-ons and pricing rules
  • Open times from your hours, blackout dates and the bookings you already have
  • Up to 25 booking questions, and quote requests with up to 5 photos
  • Deposits or full payment by card through your own Stripe account
  • hCaptcha and the spam filters on every booking

Clients don't create an account or download anything. Their details go straight to 1MinuteBooking over a secure connection, so your website never handles them.

Add it to your website

Copy the code from Settings > Share & embed, then paste it where your website builder takes custom code.

WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block.
Squarespace
Add a Code block.
Webflow
Add a Code Embed element.
Shopify
In the theme editor, add a Custom Liquid section.
Wix and GoDaddy
These put pasted code in a small box of its own, so a popup can't open over your page. Use Embed a site instead (on Wix: Add Elements > Embed Code > Embed a site), paste the address shown in Settings > Share & embed, and drag the box to about 900px tall.
Your own HTML
Anywhere in the page. The floating button can go just before </body>, or in your site's footer code to show on every page.

Some cheaper website plans don't run pasted code. On those, use the Link button: it's plain HTML, opens your booking page in a new tab and works on every plan, even in an email signature.

Already have "Book now" buttons?

Keep them. With the code on the page, any link with data-1mb-open opens the popup, for example <a href="your booking link" data-1mb-open>Book a visit</a>. If the script ever fails to load, the link still opens your booking page.

If an AI tool edits your site, Settings > Share & embed has a ready-made prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Lovable and the like. It adds the code to every page and turns your existing booking buttons into popup buttons, keeping their design.

For whoever looks after your website

One small script

About 7 KB compressed and loaded with async, so it doesn't hold up your page. With the popup and floating buttons, your booking page only loads when a visitor reaches for the button.

Your look

Button text, colors, corner radius and which corner the floating button sits in, set in Settings or with data-text, data-color, data-radius and data-position.

Real links

The buttons are ordinary links to your booking page, so they still work if the script is blocked, and they open in a new tab like any link.

No scrollbar inside

The built-in page grows to fit what's on it, so there's no height to set and nothing scrolls inside your page.

Conversion tracking

After a booking, the page fires a 1minutebooking:booked event (1minutebooking:quote-requested for a quote request) for Google Analytics or an ads pixel.

Payments in a frame

Card payments work in the widget. Apple Pay and Google Pay may only show on your booking link itself, since browsers limit them inside other websites.

Questions

What is a booking widget?

A small piece of code that puts a booking button or a booking form on your website, so visitors can book an appointment right there instead of calling, emailing or being sent to another site.

How do I add a booking calendar to my website?

Create a free 1MinuteBooking page, open Settings > Share & embed, choose a floating button, popup button, built-in page or link, and paste the code into your site. On Wix and GoDaddy, use their Embed a site option with the address shown there.

Is the booking widget free?

Yes. The widget and everything it shows are on the free plan, with no per-booking fees. Pro ($10/month) adds your logo, photos, your own colors and font, and removes the "Powered by" badge.

Does it work on Squarespace and Wix?

Yes. On Squarespace, paste the code into a Code block. On Wix, use Add Elements > Embed Code > Embed a site with the address from Settings > Share & embed. If your plan doesn't run pasted code, the Link button works on every plan.

Can clients pay a deposit through the widget?

Yes. If you turn on Stripe Payments, the deposit or full payment works the same on your website as on your booking link. Cards always work; Apple Pay and Google Pay may only appear on the booking link itself.

Will it slow down my website?

The script is about 7 KB compressed and loads asynchronously. With the popup and floating buttons, the booking page loads only when a visitor reaches for the button.

Can I use my own Book now button?

Yes. Add data-1mb-open to any link on a page that has the code, and it opens the popup. If the script doesn't load, the link still goes to your booking page.
