How it works for your client

The whole stay is one booking, priced by the night.

They pick the stay and how many nights. Boarding reads "$65 per night · up to 21 nights · pick-up by 11:00 AM" and gets a Nights stepper; an overnight stay at their home reads "leaves by 9:00 AM".
They add their other pets. An extra-pet add-on is priced per pet, per night, so the client counts pets and the booking does the nights: one extra pet for 3 nights at $50 a night adds $150.
They pick the first day and their drop-off time. Before they send it, the booking reads "Arrives Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5:30 PM - pick-up by 11:00 AM Mon, Oct 19 (3 nights)", with your address and a Get directions link for boarding at your place.
The same line follows the booking into their confirmation and reminder emails and their Manage booking page, so nobody has to work out the checkout day.

How many pets at once

You set the limit; the booking page keeps to it.

Each stay and daycare service has its own limit. Boarding starts at 4 pets a night, Doggy Daycare at 5 pets a day, and an Overnight Stay at 1 booking a night - you sleep in one client's home at a time.
Pets or bookings. Counted in pets, a booking takes one spot for its own pet plus one for each extra-pet add-on. Counted in bookings, every booking takes one spot, however many pets come with it.
A full night can't be booked. A start date is only offered when every night of the stay has room for the client's pets. Dates that don't fit are crossed out on the calendar, and if a client changes the nights so their stay runs into a full one, the page names it: "We're full on Sat, Oct 24 - try other dates." The check runs again when the booking is sent, so two clients can't take the last spot at once.
Requests hold their spots. Confirmed bookings always count; pending requests count while "Pending appointments block availability" is on, which is how a pet sitting account starts. Cancelled bookings and quote requests never take a spot.
Online changes follow the same rule. A client moving their stay from their Manage booking page is only offered dates with room.

Your calendar stays open for walks

A stay holds its arrival time, not the whole day.

A 3-night boarding stay with a 5:30 PM drop-off holds 5:30 PM on each of its nights - 15 minutes for a boarding drop-off, 30 for an overnight arrival. The daytime in between stays bookable, so clients can still book your walks and drop-in visits around the dogs staying with you. Everywhere you look at the booking, it reads as a stay:

Bookings list: "Boarding at Our Home (Per Night) · 3 nights", the arrival and pick-up, and "3 of 4 boarding spots taken (busiest night)". Once you book past the limit yourself, it says "5 of 4 boarding spots - over the limit" in red. The calendar shows the same count for each day.
Booking Details: the arrival, the nights and "Pick-up by 11:00 AM Mon, Oct 26". Need a later pick-up for one client? Change Pick-up by under Edit booking details - for that booking only.
Receipts, emails and your synced calendar show the arrival and pick-up too; the calendar event stays the length of the arrival slot.

Warnings when you book it yourself

Over the limit: adding or moving a booking yourself past the limit asks you first, and you can save it anyway. Booking Details then shows a yellow over-capacity warning.
Repeat bookings: New booking > Repeat lists every later visit that would go over, by date, before anything is booked.
Their home and yours on the same night: Booking Details warns when an Overnight Stay at a client's home and Boarding at yours fall on the same night, so you can make sure someone is with both.

Doggy daycare by the day or the week

One day or several in a row, as one booking.

Doggy Daycare at Our Home (Per Day) starts at $40 a day, with Additional Dog (Daycare) at $30 for each extra dog from the same home (up to 3), charged for every day booked. The card reads "$40 per day · up to 10 days · pick-up by 6:00 PM" and has a Days stepper: the client picks how many days in a row and one drop-off time, and the booking reads "Mon, Oct 19 - Fri, Oct 23 (5 days) - drop-off 7:30 AM, pick-up by 6:00 PM each day". A single day reads "Drop-off Thu, Oct 22, 7:30 AM - pick-up by 6:00 PM".

Every day is checked. Each day holds the 15-minute drop-off on your calendar and takes from that day's 5 spots. A start date is only offered when every day of the run has room and is open in your hours, and the page names the day that isn't: "We're full on Wed, Oct 21 - try other dates" or "We're closed on Sun, Oct 25 - pick a start date where all 5 days are open, or book fewer days."
On your calendar every day. The booking shows on each of its days ("Day 2 of 5"), in your synced calendar too, and the Bookings list counts the busiest day ("4 of 5 daycare spots taken (busiest day)").
Change the days later. Edit the booking's days under Booking Details and the price and per-day add-ons follow: 5 days with an extra dog ($350) cut to 3 is $210.

For a regular who comes every Tuesday, book them once with Repeat; for anyone else, Book again in their thank-you email fills in their last booking.

Daily walks and visits while they're away

Every day at the same time, as one booking.

Dog Walk and Drop-In Visit book one visit, or every day for up to 21 days. The card reads "$25 per walk · 30 min · or every day for up to 21 days"; the client sets Every day for to the number of days and picks one time, and the booking reads "Every day Mon, Oct 19 - Fri, Oct 23 at 9:00 AM (5 walks)".

Each day holds the visit. The 30 minutes (and any travel time) are held on every day of the run, so nothing else lands on them, and a time is only offered when it's free on every day.
Priced per visit. 5 walks at $25 is $125; Additional Pet ($8) is charged for every day, so a second dog adds $40.
Two visits a day? One booking has one time a day, so for a morning and an evening drop-in the client books the evening ones as a second booking.

Set it up in Settings

Ready-made for pet sitters, with three settings to check.

Pick Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers in setup. Your page starts with Overnight Stay (Per Night) at $75, Boarding at Our Home (Per Night) at $65 and Doggy Daycare at Our Home (Per Day) at $40, next to walks and drop-in visits.
Open Settings > Service types and edit a stay. Under Pick-up and how many a night, set Pick-up by, How many at once (blank for no limit) and whether it's Counted in pets or bookings. These fields only appear on stay and daycare services. Daycare, walks and drop-in visits also have Several days in a row, with the most days a client can pick - untick it to sell single days or visits only.
Set the most nights a client can book (1 to 21 to start) and the price per night. Rename the services if you like - "Cat Boarding" or "House Sitting" still books by the night.

Editing Boarding at Our Home (Per Night) in Settings: Where does it happen? set to At your place (your business address), and Pick-up and how many a night with Pick-up by 11:00 AM, How many at once 4, and Counted in Pets, with the hint Pick-up is the morning after the last night - every booking shows it, and you can change it on one booking. A night that's full can't be booked; leave How many blank for no limit. — Settings > Service types > Edit, on a boarding service.

Your own add-ons can take part too: on an add-on for a stay or daycare service, tick Each one is another pet to count it toward the limit, or Charge it for every night or day booked to price it per night (or per day on daycare and daily walks). Boarding and daycare start as At your place, so clients see your address; overnight stays, walks and visits are at the client's home and use your travel zones. Which businesses get it

Stays come with the pet sitting setup.

Per-night stays, daycare by the day or the week and daily walks and visits are part of the Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers business type: in-home sitters who stay overnight, home boarders and small doggy daycares. Dog trainers get the same days in a row on Day Training (drop-off, up to 10 days), and doulas on Overnight Postpartum Care (every night for up to 14 nights). Booksy: Pet boarders on Booksy list overnight boarding as a single 23h 55min service (Booksy pet boarding listings).

Questions

Can clients book several nights in one booking?

Yes. Overnight Stay and Boarding are priced per night: the client picks how many nights (1 to 21 to start - you can change the limit) and their arrival or drop-off time on the first day. The booking page shows when the stay starts and when pick-up is before they send it.

Can clients book daycare for a week, or a walk every day while they're away?

Yes. Doggy Daycare can be booked for one day or up to 10 in a row, with the same drop-off time and pick-up by 6 PM each day, and dog walks and drop-in visits every day at the same time for up to 21 days. Each day holds its time on your calendar and is checked against your hours and how many dogs you take, and the price and extra pets are charged per day. For a morning and an evening visit, the client books the evening ones separately.

Does a stay block my whole calendar?

No. Only the arrival or drop-off time is held on each night of the stay - 15 minutes for boarding, 30 for an overnight arrival - so the daytime stays open for walks and drop-in visits.

How do I limit how many dogs I board at once?

Edit the service in Settings > Service types and set How many at once. Boarding starts at 4 pets a night and daycare at 5 pets a day. Choose whether it counts pets (each booking's pet plus its extra-pet add-ons) or bookings.

What happens when a night is full?

Start dates whose stay would include a full night are crossed out on the booking page, and a client whose stay runs into one sees which night is full. The check runs again when the booking is sent. You can still book past the limit yourself after a warning.

How are extra pets charged on a stay?

Per pet, per night. The client picks how many extra pets and the booking works out the nights: one extra pet on a 3-night boarding stay at $50 a night adds $150. Can I take overnight stays if I'm not a pet sitter?

Per-night stays come with the Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers business type. You can rename and reprice those services - say, Cat Boarding - but a service you add yourself books one time slot on one day. Dog trainers' Day Training and doulas' Overnight Postpartum Care can be booked for several days or nights in a row too.
