Where people leave

Every visit is followed through the same steps: opened your page, picked a service, picked a time, started their details, booked. The biggest drop is called out in plain words, with what to look at.

Page visitors, Where people leave, for a cleaning business over 30 days: 142 people opened the page, 82 picked a service, 40 picked a time, 31 started their details and 13 booked or requested a quote, with the tip People start their details but don't finish.
Most people leave at one step. Here, people start their details but don't finish - worth checking how long the form is.
  • Leaving before picking a service - check your services, prices and photos are clear on a phone.
  • Picking a service but not a time - you may not have enough open times.
  • Starting their details but not finishing - a long form, lots of required questions or a deposit can put people off.

Days people wanted that were full

Turned-away clients you'd never hear about otherwise.

When a visitor taps a day with no open times left, it's noted - by weekday, and by date. If Saturdays keep filling up, that's a reason to open more hours, raise your Saturday price, or add a repeating booking for a regular on a quieter day.

Page visitors, Days people wanted that were full: Saturday 9 times, Friday once, Monday once, with the dates Sat, Oct 10 (7 people) and Sat, Oct 17 (2 people).
Saturdays filled up first. Seven people tried Saturday, October 10 alone.

See which of your links and listings actually bring people in.

Google, Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, Yelp, your own website (with the booking widget) and the Book again link in your thank-you emails each show by name. Texts, QR codes and most apps show as Direct.

What's counted, and what isn't

Useful numbers, without spying on your clients.

Not bots

Search engines, link previews in texts and chats, and automated browsers are left out.

Private by design

No IP addresses stored with the stats, nothing typed recorded, no cookies for visitors, and no outside analytics company. Kept 90 days.

Questions

Is it free?

Page visitors and Analytics are part of Pro, $10 a month. On the free plan, Settings still shows how many people viewed your booking page in the last 7 days and how many booked. New accounts start with a 14-day Pro trial.

Do my own visits count?

No. Your visits aren't counted while you're signed in, or afterwards from any browser you've signed in on. Search engines, link previews and other bots are left out too.

How accurate is the location?

It's approximate - a city, region and country from a location database on our own servers. On mobile data it's often the nearest big city, or just the state or province. Visitors on a VPN or private relay show as Location hidden.

Why do some visits say Direct?

Text messages, QR codes, typed-in links and most apps don't say where a visitor came from. Add ?utm_source= and a name to the end of a link you share - for example ?utm_source=instagram on your Instagram bio link - and those visits show up under that name.

Do my clients see anything, or need to accept cookies?

No. Nothing changes on your booking page and visitors aren't given a cookie. Their IP address isn't stored with the stats, and nothing they type is recorded.

How long is it kept?

Visits are kept for 90 days, and you can look at the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Analytics for your bookings covers any range, up to all time.

Do I still need Google Analytics?

Not for your booking page - Page visitors covers who opened it and how far they got. If you embed your booking page on your own website and already use Google Analytics or an ad pixel there, you can still track bookings as conversions.
