These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and 1MinuteBooking ("1MinuteBooking", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of 1minutebooking.com, your dashboard, your public booking page, and every related feature (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
If you're using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that business.
1MinuteBooking is a self-serve platform that lets solo and small service businesses ("Account Holders") set up a public booking page: business hours, service types, add-ons, coupons, and blackout dates, so their customers ("Clients") can request appointments online or, where the Account Holder offers it, request a quote (optionally with photos). The Service is offered on a Free plan and a paid Pro plan with additional features, as described on our pricing page and Section 6 below.
1MinuteBooking does not provide the underlying services being booked (personal training, cleaning, photography, consulting, or anything else) — we provide the software Account Holders use to manage their own bookings.
You are solely responsible for the content of your booking page: service descriptions, prices, taxes, cancellation/refund policies, and any custom fields or policy text you configure. You represent that this content is accurate, that you are legally entitled to offer the services listed, and that your booking page and business comply with all laws, licensing requirements, and regulations applicable to your business and location (including consumer protection, tax, health/safety, and industry-specific licensing rules).
1MinuteBooking does not review, verify, or endorse the accuracy, legality, or quality of any Account Holder's services, pricing, or policies.
1MinuteBooking is not a party to any transaction between you and your Clients.
Stripe Payments is an optional feature, off by default, that an Account Holder can turn on under Settings > Stripe Payments to charge a Client's card — the full price or a deposit — before a booking request is submitted.
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
We may suspend or terminate access for violating this section, as described in Section 15.
The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google (optional sign-in), PayPal (billing), Stripe (Stripe Payments, see Section 7), hCaptcha, IP/network lookup providers, an email-verification provider, an address-search provider, and hosting, network and backup-storage providers (each named in our Privacy Policy). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, are outside our control, and we are not responsible or liable for their availability, accuracy, security, or any acts or omissions of the companies that operate them.
1MinuteBooking and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service itself — the software, design, branding, and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you, beyond a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you and your Clients submit through the Service (business details, service listings, booking and client records). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you.
As described in our Privacy Policy, you (the Account Holder) are the controller of the personal data your Clients submit through your booking page, and 1MinuteBooking processes it on your behalf. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data, for giving your Clients any notices required by law, for only using their data for legitimate scheduling purposes related to your business, and for complying with data protection laws that apply to you (which may include, depending on where you and your Clients are located, laws such as PIPEDA, GDPR, or state privacy laws). If your business is subject to obligations we don't already fulfill for you, meeting them is your responsibility.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, that any spam/vpn/hcaptcha screening will catch all abusive activity, or that email notifications or any other feature will function without interruption or error. You use the service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will 1MinuteBooking, its owners, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, bookings, or data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, for any and all claims, will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty us dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you; in those cases, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 1MinuteBooking and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) the content of your booking page or the services you offer through it; (c) your relationship, transactions, or disputes with your Clients; (d) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (e) your violation of any third party's rights, including data protection rights.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time, either yourself from Settings > Account (Delete my account, which permanently deletes the account and everything in it) or by contacting us. Deleting your account cancels any active Pro subscription, without refund as described in Section 6. We may suspend or terminate your account, immediately and without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms (including Section 8), engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, failed to pay applicable fees, or if required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and, for a suspension or termination under this Section, without any refund or credit for any unused portion of a period you've already paid for. We will handle any retained data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 17) will survive.
We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-dashboard message or email). Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at the address in Section 19 so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
