Pixieset and HoneyBook bundle galleries, contracts and invoices. If you deliver galleries elsewhere, 1MinuteBooking books and sells your sessions, free.

Sessions sold with the extras

Clients book a mini session, a portrait session, headshots or event hours, and add more edited photos, retouched headshots or another person. See the booking page

A deposit holds the date

Connect your own Stripe account and clients pay a deposit or the full price by card as they book. No monthly fee: 2% per card payment, plus Stripe's fee. How deposits work

Weddings quoted

Weddings and commercial work come in as quote requests with the date, hours, number of people and budget. You reply with a price and a card payment link. How quote requests work

Everything else is included, free

No add-ons to buy and no per-feature upgrades. Pro, at $10 a month, only adds your branding, Excel export and analytics.

Travel time & fees

Reminder emails

Online rescheduling

A Manage booking button lets clients move or cancel up to a cutoff you set. You get an email for every change. How it works

One-tap rebooking

When you mark a booking Completed, the client gets a Book again button with their last booking filled in. How it works

Calendar sync

Every booking shows up in Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar, and moves and cancellations update by themselves. How it works

Spam protection

A captcha, connection checks and your own filters send fake requests to a Spam folder, where they never hold a time. How it works

Questions photographers ask

What's the best booking system for a photographer?

Pixieset suits photographers who want galleries and booking together; Session is good for minis; HoneyBook for contracts. For booking sessions with extras and quoting weddings, 1MinuteBooking is free.

Can I take a deposit or retainer for a session?

Yes. Turn on Stripe Payments to charge a deposit or the full price before the request is sent, into your own Stripe account. Quote requests are priced first, so for those you collect the deposit after you agree the price.

Can I ask about shoot location or theme before someone books?

Yes - every booking asks the shoot location (or 'studio') and who's in the photos and what they're for, and the quote form asks what the shoot is for, the date, hours of coverage, how many people, the address if known and the budget.

Can I limit how far in advance people book a shoot?

Yes - set a maximum advance booking window in days, adjustable up to 365.

Can I offer an add-on on only some sessions?

Yes - each add-on can be limited to certain sessions. In the starter menu, 10 More Edited Photos (+$50) goes with the mini and portrait sessions only, while Extra Retouched Headshot (+$35) and Another Person (+$75) go with headshots.

Can I give clients a receipt?

Yes - every booking has a printable receipt you can save as a PDF, marked PAID or UNPAID, and clients who pay through Stripe are emailed a payment receipt automatically.

Can I charge for travel, and block time on my calendar for the drive?

Yes - with location options. The Photography preset starts with "Our studio" (no charge), "On location - within 20 miles (30 km) of us" (no charge), "On location - 20-40 miles (30-65 km) away" (+$20) and "On location - more than 40 miles (65 km) away, we confirm first" (+$40). Change the names, prices and travel times, or add your own, under Settings > Locations. The drive time blocks your calendar but is never shown to the client.
