Free online booking and scheduling for solo and small service businesses

A free Time To Pet alternative for solo sitters

Time To Pet is built for pet care companies with staff. If it's just you, 1MinuteBooking books walks, visits, overnights and boarding for free.

Free plan, no credit card required

What a solo sitter gets, free

Pick Pet Sitter at sign-up and your page starts with these. Every price and limit can be changed.

Boarding with a nightly limit

Set how many pets you board a night, 4 to start. Clients pick their nights, and a start date only shows when every night of the stay still has room. Each extra dog takes its own spot.

Your day stays free

A boarding stay or a daycare day holds only its drop-off time on your calendar, so you can still book walks and visits around it.

Extra pets priced in

A second dog on a walk is +$8, an extra pet on an overnight +$10 a night, an extra boarder +$50 a night. The client sees the total add up before they book.

A walk every day while they're away

One booking covers the same walk or drop-in every day for up to 21 days to start (you can raise it to 90), with each day held on your calendar and priced per visit.

Keys, care notes and the meet & greet

Every booking asks how you'll get in (someone home, key, lockbox or code) and the pets' names, ages and care notes. A free Meet & Greet is on the menu to start.

Travel fees by distance

Visits at the client's home are priced by distance zone, and the far zone waits for you to confirm. The drive blocks your calendar without being added to the visit.

What Time To Pet does that we don't

Check this list first. If you need any of it, Time To Pet is the better fit.

Staff, GPS and visit reports

Time To Pet has a staff app, GPS tracking and visit updates. One 1MinuteBooking account is one person, with no visit reports.

Text messaging

Our confirmations and reminders go by email only. On the free plan, up to 5 automatic client emails go out a day.

Saved cards and auto-charging

Cards aren't saved, so clients aren't charged automatically. They pay a deposit or the full price when they book, or from a payment link you send.

Client portal

Clients manage each booking from the link in their email (reschedule or cancel, if you allow it), but there's no login with their whole history.

Invoicing in bulk

Each booking has its own printable invoice that becomes a receipt once it's paid. There's no monthly invoice across several visits.

QuickBooks and Zapier

No integrations. Pro exports your bookings and clients to Excel, and calendar sync works on every plan.

Which one fits

Stay with Time To Pet if you have walkers to schedule, your clients expect visit reports with photos, or you bill regulars monthly with saved cards.

Use 1MinuteBooking if it's just you, you want boarding and daycare limits without paying $79 a month for a facility plan, and clients paying a deposit when they book suits you. At $25 to $50 a month, Time To Pet costs $300 to $600 a year that you keep instead.

Questions

Is there a free alternative to Time To Pet?

For a solo sitter or walker, yes. 1MinuteBooking is free with no time limit: walks, drop-ins, overnights, boarding and daycare with nightly limits, extra-pet pricing and card deposits. It doesn't have Time To Pet's staff app, GPS tracking, visit reports or text messaging.

Can I limit how many dogs I board or take for daycare?

Yes, on the free plan. Each boarding or daycare service has a limit per night or day, counted in pets or bookings: 4 boarders a night and 5 dogs a day to start. A date only shows when it still has room, and extra dogs from the same home take their own spots.

Can clients book a walk every day while they're away?

Yes. One booking covers the same walk or visit every day for up to 21 days to start (you can raise it to 90), with each day held on your calendar. For regular weekly walks, you repeat a booking every 1 to 4 weeks, up to 26 visits, from New booking.

Can I send visit updates with photos?

No. There are no visit reports, GPS check-ins or photo updates. Text or message your clients the way you do now. If visit reports matter to your clients, Time To Pet does that well.
