Free online booking and scheduling for solo and small service businesses
Rover finds you clients and keeps 20% of every booking. For the clients who find you themselves, take bookings on your own page and keep the money.
The client gets the same easy booking. You keep the price you set.
The owner finds you in the app, books and pays through Rover, and Rover keeps its service fee from your earnings. It brings you new clients, reviews and its own guarantee.
The owner books from your link, picks the nights or days, adds extra pets and pays you a deposit by card, or you collect cash or e-transfer. There's no commission. Finding the clients is up to you.
These come set up when you pick Pet Sitter at sign-up. Every price and limit can be changed.
Set how many pets you board a night, 4 to start. Clients pick their nights, and a start date only shows when every night of the stay still has room. Each extra dog takes its own spot.
A boarding stay or a daycare day holds only its drop-off time on your calendar, so you can still book walks and visits around it.
A second dog on a walk is +$8, an extra pet on an overnight +$10 a night, an extra boarder +$50 a night. The client sees the total add up before they book.
One booking covers the same walk or drop-in every day for up to 21 days to start (you can raise it to 90), with each day held on your calendar and priced per visit.
Every booking asks how you'll get in (someone home, key, lockbox or code) and the pets' names, ages and care notes. A free Meet & Greet is on the menu to start.
Visits at the client's home are priced by distance zone, and the far zone waits for you to confirm. The drive blocks your calendar without being added to the visit.
Take $1,000 of bookings in a month. On Rover's 20% service fee, about $200 of that stays with Rover. Through your own page, clients paying by card cost you 1MinuteBooking's 2% ($20) plus Stripe's processing fee, about 3%. Cash and e-transfer cost nothing.
The trade-off is that Rover sends you clients and 1MinuteBooking doesn't. Plenty of sitters keep a Rover profile for new clients and send everyone who finds them another way to their own link.

For clients you find yourself, yes. 1MinuteBooking gives you your own booking page for walks, drop-ins, overnights, boarding and daycare, free, with no commission on bookings. It doesn't find you new clients the way Rover's marketplace does.
Most US sitters keep 80% of each booking: Rover's service fee is 20% (November 2026). Some accounts and countries have different rates, so check Rover's help center for yours.
Check Rover's terms first. They restrict taking clients you met through Rover off the platform. Your own page is for the clients who find you elsewhere: neighbours, referrals, your vet's noticeboard, Instagram or Google.
No. 1MinuteBooking is booking software, not a marketplace, so there's no Rover Guarantee, background check badge or 24/7 support line. Get your own pet sitting insurance, and put your cancellation and care terms on your booking page, where clients must agree to them before they book.
