Date nights and after-school care without the group texts

Families pick a time you're actually free, the hours and the number of kids set the price, and everything you need to know comes with the booking.

Built for one sitter

Your own hours and the care you actually offer - no agency, no marketplace cut, no app for parents to install.

Priced by the hour

Parents pick a start time and how many hours. The rate follows the number of children, and the whole sit is blocked on your calendar.

The important details up front

Every booking asks for the children's names and ages, allergies and an emergency contact - and the family's address.

What you can set up as a sitter

Hourly sits, a free meet & greet and school pick-ups start filled in.

Hourly rates by number of kids

One rate for one child and another for two or three. Parents pick how many hours and the total updates live.

Free meet & greet call

New families book a 15-minute call first - no address needed - so you can get to know each other.

School & activity pick-ups

An add-on for collecting a child from school or an activity, with 30 minutes blocked for the drive.

Quote requests for overnights

Overnights, regular weekly care and nanny jobs come in as a request with dates, ages and the kind of care. You reply with a price.

Travel by distance

Free nearby, a small fee further out, and drive time that blocks your calendar - set in setup. How it works

What a babysitting booking page starts with

Pick Babysitter / Nanny at sign-up and setup suggests these services, add-ons and prices. Keep, reprice or untick them as you go, and change anything later under Settings > Service types and Add-ons.

Care.com or your own booking page?

Families often find sitters through marketplaces like Care.com, Sittercity or UrbanSitter. They're good for being found, but your profile, the messages and the booking all live on their platform.

1MinuteBooking gives you a booking page of your own. Parents book a free meet & greet call, an hourly sit priced by how many kids, and a school pick-up if they need one. Overnights, regular weekly care and nanny jobs come in as quote requests, and you reply with your price. Allergies, bedtimes and an emergency contact come with every booking, and regulars are rebooked with Duplicate booking.

Keep your marketplace profile if it brings you families - and send them, and every family who already knows you, to your own page to book. It's free, with no time limit.

Questions babysitters & nannies ask

What's the best booking app for babysitters?

Marketplaces like Care.com and UrbanSitter help families find you. To take bookings from families who already know you, a booking page of your own is simpler - 1MinuteBooking does that for free, with hourly rates, a free meet & greet and quote requests.

Is there a free scheduling app for babysitters and nannies?

Yes. 1MinuteBooking's free plan has no time limit and includes hourly sits, add-ons, quote requests and address collection. Pro ($10 USD a month) adds your logo, photos and colors.

How do I charge by the hour?

The Babysitter / Nanny preset starts with hourly sits for one child ($22 an hour) and for two or three children ($27 an hour). Parents pick a start time and how many hours - 2 at least, 12 at most - and the whole sit is blocked on your calendar. Change the rates, the minimum and the maximum in Settings > Service types.

Can families ask for overnights or regular weekly care?

Yes - with quote requests. Parents give the dates and times, the children's ages and the kind of care (overnight, after school, regular weekly, nanny), and you reply with a price. No time slot is held until you do.

Can I meet a family before the first booking?

Yes. The Free Meet & Greet Call (15 minutes) is first on the list and doesn't ask for an address. Rename it if you'd rather meet in person, or untick it in setup.

Can I collect allergies and an emergency contact?

Yes - every booking asks for the children's first names and ages, any allergies, medical needs or bedtime routine, and an emergency contact while the parents are out. Edit the questions in Settings > Booking form.

Can I charge for travel, and block time on my calendar for the drive?

Yes - with location options. The Babysitter / Nanny preset starts with "At your home - within 10 miles (15 km) of us" (no charge), "At your home - 10-20 miles (15-30 km) away" (+$10) and "At your home - more than 20 miles (30 km) away, we confirm first" (+$20). Change the fees and drive times right in setup, or later under Settings > Locations. The free meet & greet call doesn't ask. The drive time blocks your calendar but is never shown to the client.
